From taking a pleasant stroll through our historic downtown and stopping to enjoy a bite to eat at one of our fantastic restaurants, or enjoying a walk on one of our many walking and hiking paths, there is a great blend of activities for everyone.

Art Trail

Art Trail Tecumseh is a free outdoor sculpture exhibit, waiting for you to explore, on your own time, at your own pace. The sculptures will be on display in Tecumseh throughout the year with new sculptures installed in the spring each year.

Take a self-guided tour through downtown and enjoy Art Trail Tecumseh, our free sculpture exhibit. It is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon with family and friends. Don't forget to include the Tecumseh High School Sculpture Garden on your tour as well.

Art Trail Tecumseh is a Downtown Development Authority project and made possible with funding through the DDA, the Sage Foundation and MCACA - The Arts Alliance.

Biking, Hiking Trails and Walking Paths

Take a stroll along the Indian Trails walking path and you just might see a doe with her baby fawns scampering through the woods along the river. Mallard ducks, Canadian geese, blue herons or an occasional swan can be seen along the shores of the mill pond, and if you are lucky you may see a bald eagle fly overhead! If you watch patiently you might catch a glimpse of fish jumping out of the water to catch their daily meal. Not a day goes by that you won't spot a young family or grandfather and grandchild fishing along the shores.
