Tecumseh's 19th Annual Appleumpkin Festival & Westfest

Throughout Tecumseh and at the west end of town at Tecumseh Plaza & Pamida parking lot.

The leaves are falling from the trees, the morning air has a certain crispness to it, this can only mean one thing in Lenawee County; it’s time for Tecumseh’s Appleumpkin Festival & Westfest.

You’ll want to bring the whole gang to town for this one. The kids will enjoy the midway rides and carnival games.

The Antique Street Fair and Flea Market will keep you captivated for hours.

The Arts & Crafts Show brings wonderfully handcrafted creations into Tecumseh.

Do you need a scarecrow for your front lawn? Well you’re in luck, you can make your very own at the Appleumpkin Festival downtown. That’s right, spend a little quality fun time with your family, and craft your own scarecrow, all for free! You’ll find everything you need under the Make-it-Take-it Scarecrow Tent.

Looking for live entertainment? Stop by the stage area and take in the acts.

All this fun is sure to work up an appetite. Good thing we invited so many of your favorite fair food vendors to town for the weekend. Want to sit down and rest a spell? Our Tecumseh restaurants are ready to serve you a delicious meal while you relax.

Be sure to visit your favorite Tecumseh shops, many feature specials and savings for the Appleumpkin/Westfest weekend.

Appleumpkin Westfest located at the west end of town includes general, food and activity vendors, as well as activities including inflatables, kids games and more!  A chili cook-off, waterball tournament and antique tractor show are just a few of the highlights planned for this year’s event.  (If you would like to participate in one of the Westfest activities click on one of the links at the right). A free shuttle service is planned to run between downtown and the west end to assure visitors can conveniently visit both festival locations. 

Tecumseh’s Appleumpkin Festival & Westfest is held in conjunction with Kapnick Orchard’s Apple Festival. You can take a short drive out to the apple orchard and enjoy fresh apples, cider and donuts. Wagon rides, a petting zoo, children’s talent show, and over 80 craft booths are just some of the highlights at the Kapnick Orchard’s Apple Festival.
